"South Dakota Deer Hunting At Its Best"
Deep Creek Hunts
Deep Creek Hunts has a long history of deer hunting success, many excellent bucks have come off the ranch in the last 20 years. We have taken Muley Bucks that are eligible for Boone and Crockett including an 11x9 non-typical, along with Whitetails that qualify for Pope and Young including a 6x6 Whitetail in 2008.A limited number of deer are taken each year to maintain a healthy and productive herd. We offer more than 4,500 Acres Of Prime Cheyenne River Breaks, Rolling Pasture, and Prime Farm Land For Your Hunting Pleasure! Located in beautiful Western South Dakota along the Cheyenne River.
Hunting Strategy

We strongly believe in hunting "the right way", when you go home with your Trophey you can do it with pride. On your hunt you can expect to see many deer, Muleys and Whitetails. Many opportunities present themselves over the course of the hunt and we encourage every hunter to choose carefully. A limited number of big bucks are harvested each year. This practice insures that the herds stay strong and continue to produce record class animals. We like to keep a ratio of deer and so there is not charge for taking Doe.
Techniques
Our methods include a combination of spot and stalk as well as ground and elevated blind hunting. Our experienced guides will assist you with finding the perfect setup. You many find yourself stalking a Monster Buck through a wooded draw or in a ground blind 10 yards from the "Big 1" or overlooking the breath taking views of cedar covered valleys from an elevated blind.
Lodging
Deep Creek Hunts Guests will be staying in newly built fully furnished Log Cabins. You will be picked up pre-dawn every morning and taken out to the feild for the morning hunt. Afterwards you will be served a Home Cooked breakfast of Pancakes, Waffels, Bacon, Sausage, Eggs, and Coffee. After the days hunt you will dine at some of Wall's Finest Resturants. This is a great time to talk about the days events, and maybe have a couple of cold ones. While you are our Guests, the Ranch is yours. Your group will be the only hunters on the property during your stay.
